Normal Aging vs. Dementia – What’s the Difference?

Normal Aging vs. Dementia – What’s the Difference?

Monday, April 22 @ 1:00 PM—2:00 PM

This is an in-person event at the Anchorage Senior Activity Center (ASAC).

This workshop helps care partners understand and recognize the differences between “normal” and “not-normal” aging, and addresses typical issues that occur throughout the progression of dementia. Learn the value of matching helping behaviors to the person’s needs and retained abilities, and to promote a sense of control and self-direction. Following we’ll have time for questions and discussion.

Free to attend! Registration required.
