- June 21 – Summer Solstice – “The Longest Day” promoted by the Alzheimer’s Association, people from across the world will fight the darkness of Alzheimer’s through a fundraising activity of their choice.
- June 22 — (first Saturday after the Solstice) Alaska Fraternal Order of Eagles #4207 Summer Solstice Charity Golf Tournament, benefiting ARA
- September is World Alzheimer’s Month
